" [...]   So I began to really ask myself a lot of questions, and particularly where it came to geometry because I loved geometry. And she (The Geometry teacher, T.G.) had a point, she put it on the blackboard, and said it didn't exist. So she went and then she said, now I'm going to take a number of these points and put them side by side, and that makes a line, and that doesn't exist and she wiped that out. Then she took a number of these lines that didn't exist made out of points, and laid them parallel to one another, and got a plane. And said that doesn't exist. She wiped that out. And then she stacked a number of planes that didn't exist made out of lines that didn't exist made out of points that didn't exist, like this and says it's a cube and now she says it exists!       A wounded girl, slingshot in her hands, launches a stone at someone (outside the frame).

●   'Sniped' drawings based on a computerized geometrical model. White-washed when the show was closed.     

●   Slingshot Girl drawings made after video stills, and models. Figures done blindfold, each in one take.   

●   Cast: Stretched photo (a perspective view from inside a car) and a scheme (bird view) demonstrating the slippery 'U' Turn of the FV453           Dymaxion, Buckminster Fuller's three-wheeled hyper 1933 automobile. The historical car, its inner parts and surface modeled after                   Bucky's life-study of Synergetics principles (geometrical coordinate system exploring the behavior of whole systems not predictable from       the behavior of separate parts) crashed on its first public exhibit taking the life of one person.

    

         Of interest to 'His 'U' Turn – My 'U' Turn is the dimension of Bucky's all-encompassing visionary rational society,           his naive and grand ambition to sculpture technologically the loftiest Christian notions of benevolence.
